My favorite place would be up on Leach Lake where the fishing is good and the weather is usually cooler in the summer time than it is down in the city. It's a big lake where you can do lots of different things on it, from sail to water ski to good fishing. There's lots of other activities in the local area plus the people up there are so nice. You always feel welcome. I loved the fishing tournament up there. I didn't do real well but I had a good time. I was up there with my kid, we were fishing in the father-son Walleye Tournament. It was fun. Also ice fishing up there is a good time. My friend used to own a resort up there and she was a wonderful cook so we'd go up there just for the meals and ice-fish. Overall, it's a wonderful place to go, I've been going there for 42 years.
