My favorite place in the Twin Cities is Irvine Park. It's usually pretty quiet there, not a lot of people, and very relaxing. It's nice because it is close to downtown, but it's away from all the noise. I usually just sit and read, or I have lunch there occasionally. I think because of the fact that I moved here from a very small place, so all the noise and things were kind of overwhelming, that I liked Irvine Park because it was quiet. I go there on a regular basis. I work at the Alexander Ramsey house which is right next door to the park and that's how I found it in the first place. I actually started going there because I would have half-hour lunches. I would go and spend my time there to get away from the tourists.
