When contemplating my favorite place in Minneapolis I thought a lot about where I go, what I like to do, and why. The first place that popped into my head was Lake Harriet. I go there at least once a day when the weather is nice and the sun is out. I like to rollerblade there, read, talk with friends, walk with my mom, or just sit, relax, and be. No matter what time of day it is, the lake always looks beautiful. I love to be near the water. I am not sure why—I think the lake puts me at peace.
