Walking and More at Lake Harriet

My favorite place in the Twin Cities would have to be Lake Harriet. I walk around with my friends and my family as much as I possibly can, whether it's winter or summer. It's just fun to people-watch and look out at the boats and the pavilion and the music. The atmosphere is very family oriented, it's very nice. People are playing volleyball, or they are riding their bike, or just getting good exercise and having a good time. I have been doing that for thirty years now. Basically it is fun just running into friends and taking my little girls walking around there.
