I love Sweetski's because it represents community. I live in the Lyndale neighborhood and for me this is my neighborhood café. I like to go on walks around the neighborhood, and whether I stop in or not; Sweetski's is a symbol of home. Occasionally, I will go to Sweetski's on my own, but usually I go there with friends. It is a great place to gather for dessert on a weeknight or for brunch on Sunday. On weeknights, it is more of a neighborhood coffee shop, and is a low-key place to relax. On weekends, the place is hopping with people, filled with energy, enjoying the company of those most dear to them. This is the time I enjoy most. My closest friends and I sit back and enjoy the amazing food and the amazing energy that radiates... the combination of knowing you have a place to call home and to knowing you are loved. Sunday brunch has become a ritual I will cherish always.
