Landmark of Stillwater: The Lowell Inn

Stillwater just had Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer within our city, and it's where Minnesota was born. It's a very old city--we have the Lowell Inn. That's known because a lot of celebrities would come to eat there. The Palmer family made the Lowell Inn famous, with its lovely china and wait service. Two of my daughters worked there in the 70's. The new owner Dick Anderson is restoring it to keep it as a landmark of Stillwater. When Good Morning America was here, Dianne Sawyer stayed at the Lowell Inn. I like to go to the Lowell Inn to eat. It's just a nice town to live in.
