Who I am…

Born: June 22, 1986
Birthplace: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Came to the Twin Cities in 1986

“I was born right here in Minneapolis, almost 16 years ago. I’m getting old!

“There are some members of my family who celebrate Channukah and Passover, and some that celebrate Christmas and Easter. I don’t really know which I like the best. My dad is Jewish and my mom is Methodist now, so it was a good combination. If I had to say anything, I would say I was Jewish, but not a practicing anything.

“This time in my life is pretty good. I’m doing lots of interesting things, and I’m having fun and it’s a pretty good time.”

My favorite place…

Favorite Place: A Beach on Lake Harriet

“As soon as I heard that this project was going to be about our favorite places, I knew my place would be a city park.

“The Lake Harriet Beach across from the bandshell is my favorite place because of the memories. I remember summer afternoons with my dad and stepmom at the beach, letting me push them into the water. The bigger the splash, the better.”
